I broke the Real Berliner rules and stayed home yesterday morning and made myself some fluffy American pancakes for breakfast. Instead of going out for a brunch it was nice to stay at
home after a rough night (Netflix+sleeping long) and just relax and enjoy the ''silence''.

  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 dl milk
  • 3 dl flour
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 30 gr melted butter
  • a bit of butter for frying
  • 125

  • Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Put the bowl in the fridge for about 20 minuteto cook. The dough is supposed to be very thick - don't get scared!
  • Heat a pan on the stove.
  • When you cook the pancakes, it won't take long until they are ready - it only takes about a minute, even less, from the other side.
  • Serve with maple syrup or berries - or with anything you fancy!

I hope you will try it out and enjoy! Have a lovely last day of Easter and good luck for the next week! :)
